At Churchtell ("we", "our", or "us"), protecting the privacy of your ministry, staff, and congregation members is fundamental to our platform philosophy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and safeguard your data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate your church workspace and provide ministry capabilities:
- Account & Workspace Info: Church name, leader contact details, billing preferences, and custom domain settings.
- Member CRM Data: Names, contact info, household relationships, attendance check-ins, and pastoral notes uploaded by your administrators.
- Giving & Financial Data: Transaction tokens processed via PCI-compliant payment gateways (Stripe). We never store raw credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used strictly to power your church operating system, send requested SMS/email communications, process tithes, and provide technical support. Churchtell does not engage in data monetization or targeted third-party advertising.
4. Data Encryption & Security Standards
All data transmitted between your browser and Churchtell is encrypted using TLS 1.3 encryption. Data stored in our databases is encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards.
5. Member Rights & Data Export
Churches retain full ownership of member records. You can export complete member directories, giving receipts, and attendance records at any time. Members have the right to request deletion of their personal profiles from your church workspace.
